I’m a mixed media artist who loves dabbling in a little bit of everything!

In the past three years, I’ve gotten into complex collage work through the delicate art of paper cutting. My art features whimsical designs from butterfly castles to fairy groves, sugar skulls and fairy tales to sea creatures, dragons, butterflies, dragonflies, all kinds of flora and fauna, and more.
My life is full of whimsy!
Having spent two decades mostly housebound, I’ve had time to grow my creativity so it sparkles and shines.
Why buy when I can create it? That attitude seems to resonate with my fans and readers who enjoy my writing projects, publications, and many forms of art.
As a wordsmith, I do a lot of collages and papercutting.
My collages are crafted with passion and they’re 100% unique.
They’re meticulously designed and cut by hand to bring joy and wonder to every recipient. I feature all kinds of things in my art, from sugar skulls and fairy tales to sea creatures, dragons, butterflies, dragonflies, birds, and all kinds of flora and fauna.

I’ve been crafting stories in paper all my life through writing and art
Having taught art classes since the early 2000s, I’ve been ‘making things and teaching others’ all my life.
Before moving to China in 2003, I was a member of the Amaryllis Artist Guild in Lanark County, Ontario, Canada. Before moving to Asia, my creations in custom tiaras and bridal jewelry were featured in Justina McCaffrey Bridal Designs in the early 2000s.
I’ve lost track of the number of art shows and trunk shows I’ve done in Canada, China, and Taiwan. My art sales helped me move to Asia in 2003. I’ve had feature spots on CTV News on Ottawa, Beijing television (BTV), and Changchun TV in China.
Art sales funded my new power wheelchair in April 2025. It’s amazing to look at my wheelchair and know it’s funded by people who loved my creations.

Over the past 20 years, my art has ranged from freeform wire sculptures and jewelry to paper crafts, clay, and painting.
The disabling diseases that I live with have forced me to slow down and focus on the things I can still do. They’ve also made me realize that art and writing are huge passions that deserve my attention, not only because they reflect who I am, but also because the act of creating is a coping technique that allows me to escape from the Kingdom of the Sick for hours each day.
I ended up in the world of collage and paper-cutting when I found myself alone and confined to bed in July 2023. One day, I picked up a pair of scissors and started cutting. And voila. That’s what you’re seeing here on this site.
This process has been easiest on me while creating from my bed or wheelchair.
Art has always been at the heart and soul of what I do. I hope you see my passion for it reflected here.

I’m shipping to select countries right now: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, and the US. I’ve managed to work out a basic cost of shipping. You can order expedited and get it a bit faster, but basic international shipping from Taiwan will still get your art to you within two weeks to a month depending on where it’s going.
